General questions

 

Does Tasama have a 24-hour service?

You can get a quote or order a translation 24 hours a day. On the other hand, we deliver the translation only during our opening hours from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00 CET.

How long does it take to translate a document on average?

The time required to translate your document depends on the number of words to be translated, the complexity of the project and the desired level of service. If you have an emergency, please contact us by e-mail and we will do our best to process your request as a priority.

Are tasama’s quotes binding?

The quote request is not binding for you. On the other hand, we commit to the prices and conditions we specify in our quotes. Thus, we will never adjust the stated prices upward. The deadline mentioned on the quotation is only valid for a period of 60 minutes after receipt of the quotation because our translation capacities are constantly evolving.

Which file formats are accepted by Tasama?

Our automatic online translation ordering service currently supports the following documents: MS Word, MS Excel (incl. .csv), MS Powerpoint, .txt, .rtf, .pdf. You can send all of your files, irrespective of their format, via email to contact@tasama.eu. We will then check whether editing and translating your files is possible or suggest a way to proceed if it is not possible.

In case you send us a PDF file, please note that in order to be able to translate this type of document we use software that converts PDF files into editable files and this has a significant impact on the layout. This is why we recommend that you send your files in editable formats.

How is the translation quote calculated?

For the calculation of the translation quote we take into account the number of words contained in the document in the source language, the delivery option (standard or express) and, if applicable, the complexity of the project. We are committed to offering you the best value for money.

Does Tasama offer special prices or conditions?

Our “Privilege” service level, accessible from 50,000 words per project, allows you to benefit from ultra-competitive rates while enjoying high quality translation. In addition, we want to reward our loyal customers over the long term and therefore offer them attractive rates.

What are the payment methods by Tasama?

If you order directly via our automatic online translation ordering service, you will be able to pay via Credit Card, Paypal, SEPA Direct Debit or invoice. An invoice for the amount payable will be sended to you via e-mail upon delivery of the finished translations on the agreed delivery date. The amount due is payable within a period of 14 days. Please understand that according to our general terms and conditions we will charge an interest of 5% (above the base rate) of the net invoice amount and additional overdue fees in any case of delay in payment.

What happens if I want to cancel a translation that is in process?

You may cancel your translations at any time before its completion. If we have already assigned the translation to a translator at the time of your cancelation, we will charge a cancelation fee of 20.00 €. In addition, if the translation is already in process at the time of your cancelation, we will charge the costs according to the degree of completion. In any case, we will charge at least 40% of the translation price stated in our offer.

Quality questions

 

How is the quality of translations ensured?

The “Relax” service level includes a proofreading of the translation by another person. The “Premium” service level includes proofreading the translation and quality control with the translation being delivered.

What happens if I am not satisfied with the translation?

We do our best to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with our services. If you notice any errors or imperfections in the translation, we ask you to let us know within a maximum of 14 days after delivery and in a precise manner so that we can make the necessary corrections.
